I’m so proud to be the daughter of a soldier. He’s missed more things in my life than I can name, and I know it kills him. But I don’t care. What he’s doing is so much more important than my 16th birthday or my sister’s school play, or my brother’s football game. He sacrifices his life for our country. I could not be more proud of him and I love him and respect him more than any other man in the world. Happy Memorial Day, Daddy :)
